Dear William Penn Staff and Community:

We are pleased to announce our strategic planning process for the William Penn School District 2021-2025 Strategic Plan. This is an exciting and important opportunity to set the direction of the future of the District.

Three overarching priorities will guide the development of the Plan:

  1. Cohesiveness - Partner with families, communities, and public organizations to foster shared ownership of schools and collectively create opportunities for student success;
  2. Academic Excellence - Review and examine the District’s academic programming, to include processes, programs, protocols, and structures that promote academic growth;
  3. Efficiency and Effectiveness - Demonstrate financial accountability and an ethic of care for students and staff.

In December, a Strategic Planning Task Force consisting of teachers, school leaders, and community members was identified. This Task Force will work with the Superintendent and Cabinet, serving as an advisor to the development of the Strategic Plan.
