New Student Registration

Residency Verification

Parents/Guardians of students scheduled to begin ninth-grade in the William Penn School District in September must complete the Ninth-Grade Residency Verification process. The process is automated and is an important step in transitioning students from eighth-grade to ninth.

Families of rising freshmen should have received a letter in the mail about Residency Verification, including a unique code for the student, and instructions on how to complete the process.

The deadline to verify residency is August 1, 2021. Non-completion of the process by August 1st will indicate the student will not be returning to the William Penn School District for ninth-grade. The student will be withdrawn from the District.

Please contact the Registration Office at 610-284-8005 ext. 1234 or residentverification@wpsd.k12.pa.us if you have questions or need assistance.

School Uniforms

Read the WPSD Elementary, Middle, and High School Dress Code

The district recognizes that certain parents who, for religious or other reasons, may choose to have their child not dress in a school uniform and shall have the opportunity to meet with the school principal and discuss their concerns and provide specific reasons for their child not to participate and sign a waiver allowing their child to opt-out of the requirement to wear the school uniform but adhere to a specific dress code as established by the principal.

Family Resources

We have compiled a list of resources for William Penn School District families to learn more about COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines as well as connect with local organizations for additional assistance throughout the coronavirus public health crisis.
