Registration FAQs
What is the registration process?
You will first need to complete the online registration and upload all supporting documents. Once the online registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email indicating your application has been submitted. Registration staff will review your application for processing and contact you via email, or phone call if additional information is required.
I don’t have a computer or internet access. How can I complete the online registration?
Please call the Registration Office at 610-284-8005 ext. 1234 for assistance or to schedule an appoint to complete the registration process.
I am moving out of William Penn School District, how do I withdraw my child?
Please contact your child’s school and the building secretary will be able to assist you with the documents you will need to enroll your child in another school district.
I am moving within the district; how do I update our address?
Please contact the Registration Office for all matters regarding residency. For change of address you will be required to show your new lease or deed and 2 residential forms of identification in your name to the new address.
I have other children that attend William Penn School District, do I still need to prove residency?
Yes, all new students registered to attend William Penn, a parent/guardian must complete the registration process and provide all required proofs and documents.
What is the required age for Kindergarten?
Your child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2023 to be admitted into Kindergarten. For 1st grade the student must be 6 years old on or before September 1, 2023.
What are the immunization requirements for my child to attend school?

My child is here from another country what is the registration process?
All foreign-born students must have a complete physical by an American doctor and a recent negative TB test. If the TB test is positive, you will need to have a clear chest x-ray. Once you have the physical and the TB test or chest x-ray, please complete the online registration application.

Is my child eligible to receive bus service?
For students, eligible to receive school bus services who are enrolled to begin in September (those who do not live within a walk zone). You will be notified of your child’s bus assignment from our Transportation department before the start of the school year.
Questions regarding transportation should be directed to the Transportation department at 610-284-8005 ext. 1250.
