The WPSD Board of Directors in conjunction with the Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU) Search Consultants, are conducting the search for the next Superintendent of Schools for the William Penn School District (WPSD).     WPSD Superintendent Leadership Qualities Survey

    ​The WPSD community is invited to participate in a survey to help determine key leadership qualities that you believe the next Superintendent should possess. This is an opportunity for you to have a voice in helping to develop a leadership profile that will guide the selection of the next superintendent. Please take a moment to click on the link and complete the survey, which should take you approximately 10 minutes. The survey is also available in the main offices of each district building. All responses must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on October 4, 2019. Your input is valued and appreciated.

    A survey, which purpose is to garner community input about characteristics most desired in the next Superintendent will be available between September and October 2019.

    Focus Groups

    The entire WPSD community will be invited to participate in focus groups to help determine the leadership qualities desired in the next Superintendent. A schedule for the focus groups and Save-the-Date flyer were reviewed and approved by the Board.

    Saturday, October 12, 2019 | 10:00 am – Penn Wood Middle School

    Tuesday, October 22, 2019 | 10:00 am – Bell Avenue Elementary School Auditorium

    Wednesday, October 23, 2019 | 6:00 pm – Penn Wood High School-Library

    Thursday, October 24, 2019 | 7:00 pm – Penn Wood High School Cypress Street Campus

    All members of the community are welcome to attend. The WPSD Board of Directors will be providing transportation to the focus groups for community members. More information regarding how to sign up for a focus group and transportation will be forthcoming.
