Department Overview
The Human Resources office of the William Penn School District recruits, develops, and retains outstanding employees committed to fostering educational excellence. The William Penn School District has eight elementary schools (kindergarten – grade 6), one middle school, serving 7-8 grade students, one senior high school with two campuses; Cypress Street, serving grade 9 and Green Avenue, serving grades 10-12.
For all submissions of Act 168 request, Public Service Loan Forms, and employment verifications please submit the required form to humanresources@wpsd.k12.pa.us.

Resignation/Retirement
In order to resign or retire from the William Penn School District, please submit a Notification of Retirement/Resignation form.
Please keep a few things in mind:
- If you need any support completing the form, please reach out to Marina Byrne-Folan at mbyrnefolan@wpsd.k12.pa.us or 610.284.8005 extension 1231.
- Human Resources will confirm receipt of your resignation/retirement form via email, notify all relevant parties of your separation date, and begin working to fill your position when your Notification of Retirement/Resignation is received.
- The Pennsylvania Public School Code requires professional employees to provide sixty calendar days of notice of their intent to resign.
