• Mu Alpha Theta
    Penn Wood High School

Mu Alpha Theta is the United States mathematics honor society for high schools and two-year colleges. In June 2016, it served over 100,000 student members in over 2100 chapters in the US and in 17 foreign countries. Its main goals are to inspire keen interest in mathematics, develop strong scholarship in the subject, and promote the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two year college students. As we begin our activities for the 2019/2020 school year, we would like to welcome you to have a part in club membership. This is the 5th year of PWHS’s Mu Alpha Theta and we know that with your participation and passion, Mu Alpha Theta will continue to thrive and rise in status among student organizations here at Penn Wood. Last year we participated in over 5 Math Competitions, fundraised money to donated new calculators to two college bound seniors and had over 200 hours of service time.
